Guntur: Human chain formed in support of 3 capitals
‘Former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu cheated the people in the name of special category status to Andhra Pradesh. He did not give plots to the farmers who gave their valuable lands for the construction of state capital. People will teach a lesson to him for cheating them’
Guntur: YSRCP students' wing leaders on Thursday formed a human chain in support of move of the State government to set up three capitals at Hindu College Centre in Guntur.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Maddali Giridhara Rao alleged that former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu cheated the people in the name of special category status to Andhra Pradesh. He criticized that he did not give plots to the farmers who gave their valuable lands for the construction of state capital. He warned that the people would teach a lesson to him for cheating them.
He said Chandrababu Naidu spent only Rs 5,200 crore for the development of Amaravati. He lashed out at the former Chief Minister for destroying fertile agricultural lands for constructing the capital. He said that so many acres of land were not needed fro constructing a capital city.
MLA Mustafa said Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will keep up all his election promises without fail.
YSRCP Guntur Parliament constituency president Lella Appi Reddy, the party state general secretary Atukuri Anjaneyalu were among those participated in the meeting.
