Guntur: Infosys selects 246 students of KITS Engg College
As many as 246 students of KITS Engineering College were selected to noted software company Infosys at a two-day pool campus drive organised in association with Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy(APITA) held on the college premises on November 29 &30.
Guntur: As many as 246 students of KITS Engineering College were selected to noted software company Infosys at a two-day pool campus drive organised in association with Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy(APITA) held on the college premises on November 29 &30.
Written examination was conducted for the students attended this drive. Interviews were conducted on December 1 to the students qualified in the written examinations. A total of 246 students were qualified in the interview and were appointed to work in infosys. A huge number of students turned out for this pool drive.
About 6,000 students of APITA registered Engineering colleges from Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam Districts attended the drive. The department of training and placement, KITS looked after the drive and organized it in a highly commendable way.
The management of KITS provided the needed support to the recourse teams. K Subba Rao, Chairman of KITS told the media persons that he was very happy in hosting this prestigious event up to the expectations of MNCS.
K Sekhar, Secretary, Dr K Haribabu, Director; Dr P Babu, Principal K Chandra Sekhar, TPO and the HODs of various departments contributed to the success of the event.
