Guntur: Officials told to solve petitions in time

Collector I Samuel Anand Kumar instructs officials to create awareness on coronavirus as people are not following any guidelines
Guntur: District collector I Samuel Anand Kumar directed the officials to take steps to solve all the petitions received in the village secretariat within the stipulated time.
He inspected village secretariat at Vankayalapadu village under Yadlapadu mandal of Guntur district on Wednesday.
He inspected the details of beneficiaries of various welfare schemes kept in the notice board for social audit. He examined attendance register, movement register and biometric attendance. He directed the officials to take steps to open the bank account for those who enrolled their names for YSR Bhima scheme. He instructed the MPDOs to give suggestions to solve petitions in the village secretariats and directed the tahsildars to create awareness on the need to wear the mask to check spread of Covid-19. He directed the officials to set up posters to create awareness on Covid-19, because people are moving on the roads without masks.
Later, he visited village secretariat which was under construction and directed the officials to maintain quality in the construction work. He reiterated that the aim of the government was to render better services through the village, ward secretariats.
Yadlpadu tahsildar J Srinivasa Rao, MPDO Madhuri, Pachayat Raj engineering officials were present.
