Guntur: Resignation is no solution, N Chandrababu Naidu
TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday responded on the resignation letter of Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi which was sent through whatApp to him.
Guntur: TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday responded on the resignation letter of Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi which was sent through whatApp to him.
In a reply, Naidu said that it is not correct for Vamsi to tender his resignation to the TDP as he and his followers in the constituency were facing harassment from YSRCP leaders and officials.
"There is a need to fight against the government to protect interests of people," he asserted. He said the YSRCP government booked several cases against Vamsi with malicious intention. Naidu felt that there was nothing wrong if house sites occupied by the poor were regularised. He recalled that the TDP government worked in favour of the poor and weaker sections. The TDP supremo opined that quitting politics cannot be a solution to stop harassment by the ruling party.
He said, "If you quit politics, the YSRCP leaders will continue their harassment. Resignation or quitting politics is not a correct solution."
He said awareness should be created among people on the anti-people's policies being pursued by the YSRCP government.
The TDP leaders should take up the responsibility, he said. He advised Vamsi to wage battle against anti-people's policies of the YSRCP government. He extended his support to Vamsi's agitation personally and on behalf of the party.
Naidu alleged that the YSRCP government was harassing the TDP leaders across the State and the party will fight against the government.
