Guntur: Young Man held for using Home Minister's name for duping the people
A young man has been arrested for allegedly deceiving the people by claiming himself as the state home minister.
A young man has been arrested for allegedly deceiving the people by claiming himself as the state home minister. The accused is said to have used the home minister Sucharitha's photo as WhatsApp display picture and duped many.
Going into details, Sarathchandra Varaprasad of Guntur's SVN Colony works as a data processing operator in a sand dumping yard near Autonagar Y Junction in Peddakakani. Fed up with black of money, he made a plan to portray himself as he has got a good acquaintance with the Home Minister. Varaprasad has changed his phone number name to Home Minister Sucharita's name in Trucaller and deceived most of the officials and workers at Sand dumping yard making money.
In the process, a man named Bandlamudi Bhanu Kiran, a victim of the Varaprasad extortion, lodged a complaint with the police. With his complaint, the accused was booked and arrested and taken to remand. Police say that he was involved in fraudulent activity in the sand mining.
