Guntur Zilla Parishad chief joins YSRCP
District Zilla Parishad chairperson Janimun shifted her loyalty to the YSRCP. She joined the party in the presence of party president Y S.Jaganmohan Reddy during his road show in Vemuru Assembly constituency in the district on Tuesday.

She joined the party in the presence of party president Y S.Jaganmohan Reddy during his road show in Vemuru Assembly constituency in the district on Tuesday. She was elected as ZPTC from Kakamanu mandal on TDP ticket and became ZP chairperson with the blessings of the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Interestingly, ministers N Lokesh, Prathipati Pulla Rao and Nakka Ananda Babu supported her and extended their cooperation even when she fell out with another minister from the district Ravela Koshore Babu, who eventually left the TDP. Sources say she had been seeking TDP ticket from Guntur East Assembly ticket and was disappointed over not getting it.
