Health camp at Burripalem held
On the occasion of former President of India Dr Abdul Kalam’s birthday, Tollywood hero G Mahesh Babu in association with Andhra Hospitals organised a multi-specialty health camp at Burripalem village on Tuesday.
Vijayawada: On the occasion of former President of India Dr Abdul Kalam's birthday, Tollywood hero G Mahesh Babu in association with Andhra Hospitals organised a multi-specialty health camp at Burripalem village on Tuesday.
This camp was led by all specialties including medicine, surgery, paediatrics and cardiac of the hospital. An awareness session was also conducted on common health problems. All specialty consultations, investigations including scan were done and medicine distributed to patients. A total 137 children attended this camp.
Dr P V Rama Rao, chief of children's services and director, Andhra Hospitals, said this was the 26th camp so far in this village and their target was to improve health care services at Burripalem to develop it as model health village in AP. Dr Syed Mudassir, Dr Amar and Dr Achuth Babu, nurses, pharmacist and paramedical staff helped in this camp.
