The High Court on Tuesday denied the CBI inquiry into the mysterious death of former Assembly speaker of Andhra Pradesh. The petitions have been flooded to the high court to probe into the dormer MLA's death. the petitioner B Anil Kumat a stauch follower of Kodela filed a case in Petitioner in this regard. the petitioner included Banjara Hills police station as a respondent in the case. The High Court after enquiring the petition has given the notices to Bajara Hills. the Banjara Hills police responded to court and said that the petitioner is no way concerned to the matter and the petition filed by him is null and void.

However, the police have reported the court, the case has been filed and the investigation is going on in this matter and the statements of the family member are yet to be recorded. The high court agreed to Banjara Hills Police and discarded the petition of CBI enquiry into the death of Kodela.

Kodela Shiva Prasad is six-time MLA committed suicide last Monday at his residence in Banjara Hills. The funeral was held in Sattenapally in Narsaraopet. the TDP party alleged that the former speaker took his life due to YSCRCP government's vengeance.
