Hindi Fortnight celebrations conclude at NSTL
Hindi Fortnight celebrations-2019 (HFC-2019) were organised during the second week of September at Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL), a premiere Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) lab, in Visakhapatnam.
Visakhapatnam: Hindi Fortnight celebrations-2019 (HFC-2019) were organised during the second week of September at Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL), a premiere Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) lab, in Visakhapatnam.
In his valedictory speech, Director of NSTL O R Nandagopan expressed happiness over the enthusiastic participation of NSTL employees in the event.He mentioned that Hindi is not the language of any particular State but of the entire nation, and thus it's the responsibility of every citizen to respect the national language and make an effort to promote it. He urged all scientists to present technical papers in Hindi also.
Various competitions like debate, dictation, essay writing, paper presentation, quiz, story-writing, translation, typing and poster making in Hindi language were conducted which saw a participation of 210 employees of NSTL. Assistant Director of Official Language Hindi D Sailaja, senior translator of Hindi Jayashree, members of NSTL work committee and staff of NSTL participated in the event.
