Implement 10 per cent EBC reservation, BJP demands government
BJP state EC member and Srikakulam district party in-charge P Ravi Kiran demanded that the state government implement 10 per cent EBC reservations provided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from 2019 academic year onwards.
Kakinada: BJP state EC member and Srikakulam district party in-charge P Ravi Kiran demanded that the state government implement 10 per cent EBC reservations provided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from 2019 academic year onwards. The BJP leader on Tuesday reminded that an act to this effect was brought into force by Modi in January.
Ravi Kiran insisted that the AP government should initiate measures for implementation of these reservations as the counselling process for medical and engineering will begin in July. The BJP leader also demanded for implementation of EBC reservations in universities under AP government including polytechnics.
Besides this, the BJP leader demanded for implementation of 10 per cent reservation in employment in AP government services.
