The district has received an average rain fall of 17.7 mm in the last 24 hours.
Kurnool: The district has received an average rain fall of 17.7 mm in the last 24 hours. Of the 53 mandals 19 mandals have recorded more than 10 mm rainfall and 21 mandals have affected due to Heavy rainfall. A house was fully damaged and 34 houses partially damaged.
Around to prilimary survey various planted in 20931 hectares was damaged. Of the total extent 17002 hectares paddy got damaged. Even 483.98 hectares of horticulture crops was damaged (mostly banana and chilly got damaged). Apart from crops livestock was also affected. Around 42 sheep were lost, 3.4 km road surface was washed away and 45 electricity poles were uprooted.
Fortunately, no human loss was reported. The officials have stated that No evacuation is required as of now at any villages in the district, adding, the officials have said that situation is under control at present.
