Indigo introduces flight services to Visakhapatnam

Rajamahendravaram: Indigo Airlines has introduced its flight services to Visakhapatnam from Rajamahendravaram here on Sunday. The travelling time between the historical city and city of destination is only 45 minutes.

The flight leaves for Visakhapatnam at 5.45 pm and reaches the destination at 6.30 pm and again leaves for Rajamahendravaram at 6.45 pm and arrives at 7.30 pm. The flight connectivity between the two cities helps a lot to the passengers travelling to other countries from East and West Godavari districts.

At present, it is taking four hours to reach Visakhapatnam by road and with the

introduction of Indigo flight it saves time. At present Indigo is operating as many as 10 flights between Rajamahendravaram and Hyderabad two services each to Chennai and Bangalore also.

Truejet Airlines Company is also operating four services between Rajamahendravaram and Hyderabad.
