Addressing press conference here on Wednesday he said despite there was adequate quantity water was available in the reservoirs and tanks, other water bodies due to due to recent widespread rains, but the government fails to divert water into the canals leads farmers in Kadapa, Chittor Ananthapur incurred huge crop losses in the Kharif season.
The former chief minister recalled that after his party emerged to power in 2014 elections government has increased the storage capacity of Gandikota Reservoir up to 25tmcft, and Brahmam Sagar 13tmcft's by paying Rs 6.5lakhs to the farmers of their lands under R&R package. Canals were constructed for supplying water from both reservoirs. But about 30tmcft of water was let into the sea due to the failure of the government in implementing a proper water management system. He said if tonal was constructed from Nallamala forest to Banakacharla reservoir there was sufficient availability of water to all Rayala Seema districts.
The TDP national president pointed out AP state would have become desert following ruining of river connectivity system and adoption of mindless procedures in the irrigation sector. He alleged that government is hatching conspiracy again for looting mines by resuming Brahmani steels in the name of establishing a steel plant in Kadapa district. He also finds fault with the decision of the government in selling public properties as the state would become bankrupt if the same was done. "TDP will not let such activity as it will approaches court if the government fails to withdrawn that decision".
"There were terror and panic situation is witnessing following implementation vindictive and vengeance rule by implementing by the YSR congress government. Instead of promoting peace chief minister enjoying Anarchy rule by encouraging his cabinet colleagues including speaker as they adopting filthy and objectionable language by the way of criticizing opposition parties. People are feeling ashamed of their fate in electing such worst leaders."
