Jagan Mohan Reddy promises to extend all facilities in Etcherla IIIT
Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday assured to provide all facilities at IIIT in Etcherla.
Srikakulam: Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday assured to provide all facilities at IIIT in Etcherla. Inaugurating the classrooms and hostel buildings at IIIT, he promised to provide all facilities including incubation centre to improve skills and employment opportunities among students.
He said former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy started IIITs to provide quality technical education among rural students at government cost and we will support it in all aspects. He also said that vacancy posts in all government departments will be recruited every year by issuing a notification schedule on 1 January every year.
He stated that previous TDP government neglected IIITs as a result only 1,500 students were admitted here out of total allotted 4,000 seats. He also interacted with students and assured to extend all help to complete their studies.
