Vijayawada: The Durga temple Dasara festival committee has been appointed by the state government with 36 members.
The Endowment department issued orders in this regard on Friday night one day before the beginning of festival celebrations.
The majority of the members are sympathisers and workers of the YSR Congress party. There is no place for women in the committee. The committee would take part in the nine-day celebrations.
