The Andhra Pradesh Government headed by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is not leaving any stone unturned in regards to the implementation of the welfare schemes despite the weak economy status of the state amidst Covid-19 lockdown. The Government has launched the myraids of schemes in the month of June in which 'Jagananna Vidya Devena' was the best and aims to provide reimbursement to all those students pursuing the higher education who hail from the poor families.
It's also noted that various schemes like Rythu Bharosa, YSR Vahana Mitra, Nethanna Nestam, Jagananna Chedodu and Matsyakara Bharosa etc are brought into existence to help the poor people of various categories. These schemes were not part of the manifesto but the Jagan Government took them into consideration and as he promised them in padayatra in 2018. The young and dynamic Chief Minister fulfilled the dreams of the people and in the last thirty days, he has launched the above-mentioned schemes.
Meanwhile, the Government has released the pending bills pertaining to the Medium Small Scale Industries to boost the MSMEs as part of the restart program. On the other hand, after a three months' hiatus due to coronavirus, the government has brought an ordinance to pass the vote on account budget for three months and did the same by passing the same in assembly sessions which were held in mid-June. The government has also passed the full-fledged budget with Rs. 2.27 lakh crore and gave hope to the people that the government will always be there to support them in all ups and downs.
On the other hand, the Government is striving hard to curb the coronavirus yet the cases are being mounting like anything. However, it remains to be seen what the Central Government did ahead of unlock 1.0 is due to end today and increasing coronavirus cases.
Coming to the crime report, one thing that grabbed the attention is the arrest of former minister and MLA Atchannaidu and former MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy in the ESI scam case and fake documents case respectively.
