Justice Somayajulu lauds services of judicial officers in Nellore

Nellore: The High Court Judge Justice DVSS Somayajulu said that judicial officers working in the rural areas have been enhancing the reputation of the judiciary. He formally inaugurated Senior Civil Judge's Court at Atmakur in the district on Sunday and said people are still believing that they would get justice if they approach the Courts.

Justice Somayajulu further said many noted judges of the High Court and Supreme Court started their career from service in rural areas and attained the highest positions. He appealed to the judicial officers to work sincerely with confidence considering the rural areas as their starting points for a great career ahead.

He also asked the advocates to utilise the time allocated by the judicial officers. He said they should be punctual, well prepared and should have respect on the Courts. Atmakur is now having Court when efforts were started since 1988 and asked to resolve around 600 cases in a speedy way.

Principal District and Sessions Judge G Venkata Krishnaiah said that the municipal building in the town has been redesigned by the R&B officials for converting it as the Court and asked to clear cases as quickly as possible.

Local President of the Bar Association M Jayalakshmi felicitated Justice DVSS Somayajulu and the District Sessions Judge G Venkata Krishnaiah. RDO Umadevi and Municipal Commissioner Ramesh Babu were also felicitated by the judicial officers.
