Kakinada: District Education Officer (DEO) S Abraham has responded to the report published in The Hans India on June 26 titled 'Violating norms, private schools fleece students in EG.'

Abraham stated that the government issued instructions to the privately managed schools not to collect any fees to conduct online classes.

The DEO said that he issued orders to school managements not to collect fees to conduct online classes extra which will be viewed seriously. He said those who violate the orders of instructions will be taken to task and stringent action will be initiated against them. Abraham said if the private managements insist on payment of fees, they can directly contact the DEO office no 08684224568 and action will be taken against such schools.
