Kakinada: Encroachers told to regularise their lands

Kakinada: District Joint Collector G Lakshmisha said that the occupied public lands in the district would be regularized in areas where there was no objection.
Addressing the media here on Tuesday, Lakshmisha said that according GO No 463, occupants who are occupying till October 15, 2019, will be required to register with ration card and Aadhaar card at Village Secretariat for regularisation.
He said that below poverty line families can register up to 100 yards, if they occupied. If the occupied area for BPL families is 100 to 300 yards, they can register with the Collector's consent at market price. He urged the encroachers to take advantage of this opportunity provided by the government.
