Kakinada: Spiritual summit at Pithapuram from tomorrow
The annual spiritual summit under the aegis of Viswa Vijnana Vidya Adyathmika Peetham, (VVVAP) Pithapuram, will be held at Pitapuram in East Godavari district on Sunday and Monday, said Dr Umar Alisha, Chairman of the Peetham.
Kakinada: The annual spiritual summit under the aegis of Viswa Vijnana Vidya Adyathmika Peetham, (VVVAP) Pithapuram, will be held at Pitapuram in East Godavari district on Sunday and Monday, said Dr Umar Alisha, Chairman of the Peetham.
While addressing the media at Peetham office,Pithapuram on Friday, Dr Alisha said that 50,000 disciples from all over the nation would be taking part in the summit which mainly concentrates on spiritual enlightenment irrespective of religion.
He further said that organizing this type of summit was in practice from the year 1900 onwards at this place .He further said that people from all religions will attend this meet which promotes brother hood, non violence,peace and love through various teachings.
Necessary arrangements were made for the people attending this meet , he added. Earlier, a book exhibition was inaugurated by Umar Alisha in connection with the summit in which M Francis former Joint Director of the Department of Information and Public Relations were present.
