Srikakulam: Leaders from all parties filed their nominations on a grand note in Srikakulam on Friday. Sitting MLA and TDP State president and Energy Minister K Kala Venkata Rao filed his nomination papers for Etcherla Assembly ticket. He submitted his nomination papers to RO of Etcherla at Ranastalam tahsildar's office. Sitting MP K Rammohan Naidu filed nomination papers for Srikakulam Lok Sabha seat on TDP ticket. He submitted his nomination papers to district election officer and collector J Nivas.
As Congress party candidate D Jaganmohan Rao filed nomination papers for Srikakulam parliamentary seat. From Jana Sena, M Rama Rao filed his nomination papers for Srikakulam parliamentary seat. N Rajasekhar also filed nomination for same parliamentary seat as independent.
In Palakonda Assembly segment V Kalavathi of YSRCP and N Jayakrishna of TDP and former MP Dr DVG Shankara Rao also filed nomination papers on behalf of Jana Sena and Left parties jointly supported candidate.
