Khammam: The 12th day of TSRTC strike witnessed innovative protest programmes organised by Left parties of CPM, CPI and New Democracy and Student unions across the erstwhile Khammam district.

In Khammam, the AISF leaders and supporters conducted mock funeral of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Many workers and leaders participated and raised anti-government slogans.

The JAC leaders and RTC workers held begging as part of protest in Khammam and Kothagudem. The CPM party leaders and RTC workers participated in the protests and showed their support.

Former Union Minister Renuka Chowdary and CPI Party State Joint Secretary Kunamneni Samba Siva Rao expressed their solidarity with the striking RTC workers. Speaking in various programmes they said that the Chief Minister was a dictator and rubbished his polices. They also alleged that the TRS government was planning to make RTC a private sector. They appealed to the people to support State bandh on October 19. Before the programme, the CPI party leaders laid siege to the Bus Stand in Khammam.
