Kovvur: Students take out rally against plastic use

Kovvur: The students of PSR & VN DAV High School here took out a rally to bring awareness among people on hazards of plastic and to stress the need to protect environment to mark National Science Day on Friday.

The students presented a skit explaining the significance of science in our everyday life. They also actively took part in a science exhibition organized by the school teachers to rejuvenate and rekindle creative skills among the children.

A cultural fest with skits, songs, dance and puzzles was also organized on the occasion.

The school principal B Nagendra Raju inaugurated the science exhibition which had live models like heart & kidney functioning, integrated cultivation, air gun, and application of Pascal's principle in daily life and so on.

He appreciated the participants and teachers who directed, encouraged and inspired the students to be part of the science day celebrations.
