Krishna District Police office gets ISO 9001-2015 certificate

Machilipatnam: Krishna district police office in Machilipatnam won the ISO 9001-2015 certificate for its maintenance and rendering quality of services to the people. The district police office has history of more than 120 years has been renovated in recent months to enhance quality of services as well as enhance the beauty and greenery within the office premises.
Main office building has been renovated and 50 feet national flag has been hoisted in front of the office. Huge cannon, which was built during the British rule is one of the attractions.
Besides, increase of greenery, beautiful landscape and growing plants has changed the outlook of the DPO. Three galleries were built in recent months for hosting important events like Republic Day, Independence Day and other celebrations. Galleries were arranged for the VIP, public and the police officials.
Badminton court, basketball court, walking track were other facilities provided for the police staff. Dormitory and other facilities were provided for the convenience of the staff coming from other places. Not only police personnel, but also outsiders, mostly the students and elderly people were using the DPO office ground for walking and jogging in morning hours. Krishna district superintendent of police M Ravindranath Babu has taken initiative for the renovation of the entire office particularly the main office building and increase of greenery.
Two police stations, Disha police station and Chilakalapudi police station in Machilipatnam bagged ISO certificate 9001-2015 for the best performance and services. Reception counters and waiting hall were set up for the convenience of visitors and corporate look was provided in the two police stations. Impressed with the facilities and renovation works of the DPO and two police station, ISO 9001-2015 certificates was issued recently. Krishna DPO was the first district police office in the state to win ISO 9001-2015 certificate.
Disha and Chilakalpudi police stations were using advanced technology to bust the criminal cases and nab the culprits.
