Krishnapatnam-Obulavaripalle: passenger service from December
General Manager of South-Central Railway Gajanan Mallya, along with senior officials from Vijayawada Railway division, visited Nellore on Friday and inspected the Krishnapatnam-Obulavaripalle railway line.
Nellore: General Manager of South-Central Railway Gajanan Mallya, along with senior officials from Vijayawada Railway division, visited Nellore on Friday and inspected the Krishnapatnam-Obulavaripalle railway line. He said that they would start passenger services on the newly commissioned railway line from December.
He conducted inspection of 87-km-long Obulavaripalli–Venkatachalam new line section of Vijayawada Division and inspected the Obulavaripalli station and reviewed the progress of developmental works.
The General Manager inspected the newly constructed Tunnel on the Vellikallu-Cherlopalli new line and also observed the Rapuru and Kasumuru stations and planted saplings in the station premises as part of the Green Initiative. He inspected the works of foot over bridge under progress at Gudur Railway station and reviewed on the works.
