Rajamahendravaram: The district administration has imposed lockdown in the entire district from Thursday ie., June 25th due to an increase in Corona cases in the district.
According to collector D Muralidhar Reddy the lockdown guidelines should be implemented strictly and stern action taken against the violators. As part of it, medical shops, grocery shops and other essential commodity shops etc allowed to open from 6 am to 10 am.
Temples, churches, mosques and other prayer halls, restaurants, bars, parks, gyms, educational institutions, shopping malls, gold and cloth shops, liquor shops, mobile vegetable shops, etc also be closed.
Government and private offices allowed to work with limited staff. Respective officials were directed to implement the guidelines effectively. Stern action will be taken against the people who moves on the roads without masks, the collector averred.
