Man dies under suspicious conditions in Kurnool district
In a tragic incident, a 45-year-old man has died under suspicious circumstances at the local police station on Thursday.
Kurnool: In a tragic incident, a 45-year-old man has died under suspicious circumstances at the local police station on Thursday. The deceased, V Balakrishna, a native of Thudicherla village was reportedly summoned to the PS over operating the belt shop.
As part of the inquiry, Balakrishna reportedly collapsed, where he was immediately shifted to the local hospital in Nandikotkur, where doctors announced him dead.
Over the death news, Balakrishna's wife Subhadramma and relatives staged a protest alleging he died due to police harassment and demanded the suspension of SI Tirupalu.
Later speaking to media, CI Subramanyam said Balakrishna died due to an epileptic fit he suffered in the police station and denied all allegations of police torture.
However, CI assured that an inquiry would be conducted to find out the cause of death of Balakrishna.
