Vijayawada: The RTGS (Real Time Governance Society) has issued an alert warning that the summer temperatures have increased to a vast extent. With this, the state is in the grip of the heatwaves.

At many places in the state, the mercury levels will cross 47 degrees Celsius on Monday. The highest temperatures of 45 to 47-degree centigrade will be recorded at Prakasam, Nellore, Kadapa, Kurnool, Guntur, Vizianagaram, Chittoor, Krishna, Anantapur, and some parts of Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam districts.

Today, the temperatures between 44 to 45-degree Celsius will be recorded at West Godavari, East Godavari, Visakhapatnam, and Srikakulam.

In the alert notice, the RTGS officials have suggested the people to take all safety measures and advised not to come out during the day time.
