EVE organisation Chairman and Engineer Ede Vedadri presented Rs 50,000 to five students who got 10/10 grade points in SSC public examinations as part of St Benedict’s High School Annual Day celebrations which were held at school premises at Kothuru Tadepalli near Vijayawada on Saturday night.

In this connection, donor Vedadri said that his organisation would encourage the merit students in Kothuru Tadepalli. St Benedict's High School has been giving excellent education to rural students and several were settled in their life, he added.

Furthermore, he informed that education, sports and games are very important, hence every year his organisation was conducting sports tournament on the occasion of Sankranthi. Vijayawada Rural Mandal Educational Officer A Venkata Ratnam, St Benedict's correspondent Fr Chinnappa, manager Fr James, principal Father Jayaraju and others participated.

Later, students performed cultural programmes.
