Minister visits Jeedipalle reservoir, HNSS Canal
BC Welfare Minister Sankaranarayana along with Anantapur MP Talari Rangaiah and former MLA Visveshwara Reddy and others inspected the Jeedipalle Reservoir and the HNSS Canal enroute Diddekunta, Gangavaram, Raketla and Ankampalle along with media representatives on Saturday.
Anantapur: BC Welfare Minister Sankaranarayana along with Anantapur MP Talari Rangaiah and former MLA Visveshwara Reddy and others inspected the Jeedipalle Reservoir and the HNSS Canal enroute Diddekunta, Gangavaram, Raketla and Ankampalle along with media representatives on Saturday.
Speaking to farmers on the occasion, he promised to bring HNSS water to the last village through laying of canals. The Minister said that rehabilitation issues need to be resolved with regard to Jeedipalli project.
The government has lately released Rs 15 crore for rehabilitating nearly 450 families. He also visited schools enroute to the Jeedipalli village and interacted with schoolchildren. He reiterated to farmers that HNSS water would be supplied to every village.
