MLA M S Babu vows to develop Kanipakam temple in Chittoor
YSRCP MLA from Puthalapattu M S Babu said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to develop Kanipakam temple preferably through Tourism Development Corporation.
Chittoor: YSRCP MLA from Puthalapattu M S Babu said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to develop Kanipakam temple preferably through Tourism Development Corporation. The temple administration should come up to the expectations of the devotees in providing facilities, he said.
The MLA released Kanipakam temple calendar for the year 2020 at Kanipakam on Friday and reiterated the government's commitment for developing the temple in all respects. ``It is one of the prominent temples in the state. The temple's monthly revenue has crossed for Rs.1.0 crore and all the transactions of the temple have been computerised,'' he said.
District Collector N B Gupta during his recent visit to Kanipakam temple has directed the temple Executive Officer to draft a master plan for the development of the temple, he added. Temple Executive Officer Devullu, former Temple Trust Board Chairman Jagannadha Reddy and others were present.
