Vijayawada: Central MLA Malladi Vishnu on Thursday conducted Padayatra in Suryaraopet and Governorpet and met the local residents. The denizens have complained that they had been facing many hardships during the rainy season due to the stagnation of rain water. They said the UGD pipelines were laid made than 30 years ago and needs to be renovated.
Responding to their grievances, the MLA has said that State government had sanctioned Rs.100 crore for development of the Central Assembly constituency and assured that the new roads would be laid and storm water works would be completed as early as possible.
