Modern sports complex for TTD staff soon: JEO
TTD Tirupati JEO B Lakshmikantham on Thursday directed the engineering officials to come out with an action plan for construction of a modern sports complex for the TTD employees in the vacant area in TTD Printing Press, on KT road near its administrative building here.
Tirupati: TTD Tirupati JEO B Lakshmikantham on Thursday directed the engineering officials to come out with an action plan for construction of a modern sports complex for the TTD employees in the vacant area in TTD Printing Press, on KT road near its administrative building here. The JEO along with officials inspected the place and said, the sports complex should have all the advanced facilities which was essential for the large number of TTD employees working in Tirumala and Tirupati and also in its institutions.
For men, cricket, football, volleyball, lawn tennis, badminton and chess need to be set up while for women kabaddi, caroms, tug of war courts etc., he said seeking the engineering officials to come out with a report for the construction of sports complex.
Later, the JEO also inspected TTD call centre to monitor its functioning. He instructed the engineering officials to erect the map of Tirumala at all important places in Tirupati so that the visiting pilgrims will have better information.
Similarly, he also instructed them to install display boards pertaining to all local temples in the respective areas to promote pilgrims visit these shrines along with Tirumala temple. TTD engineering officials including chief engineer Ch Chandrasekhar Reddy were also present.
