Union Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal has responded positively to the problems raised relating to railway ministry by MP Margani Bharat Ram
Rajamahendravaram: Union Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal has responded positively to the problems raised relating to railway ministry by MP Margani Bharat Ram.
Participating in the videoconference with the Union minister, he briefed about the importance of Kovvur-Bhadrachalam railway line which was pending for two decades. The railway line eases rail traffic movement at Vijayawada junction and also go parallel to the road laying from Kovvur-Suryapeta-Gundugolanu, Jangareddygudem and Hyderabad under Bharat Project mala.
Construction of 4th and 5th platforms in town railway station, coal yard shifting from East railway station, handing over of century-old Havelock rail bridge, laying of second track on arch rail bridge to ease the movement of rail traffic between Kolkata and Chennai and flyover between road-cum-rail bridge and Hukumpeta junction on the national highway etc were raised by the MP. The MP said that the railway minister assured to address all the problems.
