The MP requested the minister to arrange an administrative office along with retaining operations wing of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation in Rajamahendraaram. Offshore and onshore oil exploration activities are under progress on a massive scale in East, West and Krishna districts.

Day by day air traffic is increasing from the airport and also there are abundant opportunities for cargo transportation.
