Parvathipuram (Vizianagaram): A Revenue Inspector of Parvathipuram Municipality was caught by ACB while accepting bribe from a building owner for doing an administrative favour.
BV Nageswara Rao, DSP of ACB informed The accused municipal revenue inspector is identified as P Sankar Rao was caught red handed while accepting Rs 2.8 lakhs as bribe from the complainant Rongali Srinivasa Rao of Vizianagaram, near his office, to reduce the assessment of Property Tax for the newly constructed building.
As Srinivasa Rao had approached the ACB, as per their direction he handed over the money to Sankara Rao. While he is receiving, the ACB staff arrested him . DSP said that case is booked and the accused will be presented in the court.
