Kurnool: Nandikotkur senior leader and former MLA Labbi Venkataswamy have resigned to TDP and joined YSRCP on Thursday.

Laddi has meet YSR Congress party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his Lotus Pond residence in Hyderabad. On hearing about Labbi Venkataswamy coming to Lotus Pond YS Jagan has personally welcomed him.

After a small discussion on the latest politics, YS Jagan has facilitated Labbi Venkataswamy with YSRCP shawl.

Speaking to presspersons, Labbi Venkataswamy said only after YS Jagan Mohan Reddy becoming Chief Minister the state will get benefited.

Laddi expressed that achieving special status is only possible through YS Jagan. He clarified that he'll attend all the responsibilities of the party, which are given by YS Jagan.

In 2009 elections Labbi Venkataswamy has won as Congress MLA from Nandikotkur. After the state bifurcation, he has joined TDP.

It's said that behind Labbi joining YSRCP, Nandikotkur youth leader Byreddy Siddharth Reddy has played a key role.

Before joining YSRCP, Labbi Venkataswamy had a meeting with YS Jagan. In the meeting, Rajya Sabha member Vijay Sai Reddy, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Silpa Mohan Reddy, Ramakrishna, Byreddy Siddharth Reddy, and other party leaders were present.

After the meeting, YS Jagan has welcomed Labbi Venkataswamy, Guru Raghavendra groups chairman Dastagiri Reddy into YSR Congress party.
