Nellore: Sarvepalli MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy asked the officials to submit a detailed proposal to education minister A Suresh and other ministers for raising funds from government for the development of Vikrama Simhapuri University.
He along with the Vice Chancellor of Vikrama Simhapuri University Prof R Sudarshana Rao inaugurated the construction works of the approach road on Wednesday being built from the National Highway upto the main gate of the varsity premises at Kakuturu in Venkatachalam mandal.
Speaking to media, Govardhan Reddy assured that he would support the development of the varsity in all aspects. He also appreciated the VC Prof R Sudarshana Rao, Rector Prof M Chandraiah and Registrar Dr L Vijaya Krishna Reddy for taking steps for improvement of varsity with the available funds.
Vice-Chancellor has briefed about various activities going on in the varsity campus and mentioned about the significance of the Convocation Hall (Auditorium), Administrative Block, Pariksha Bhavan, and academic blocks for faster growth of the varsity.
