New spray to control mosquito growth: VMC Commissioner
VMC Commissioner V Prasanna Venkatesh on Sunday monitored the new ‘Mos Free-FX’ spray which would prevent the mosquitoes at the larva stage.
Vijayawada: VMC Commissioner V Prasanna Venkatesh on Sunday monitored the new 'Mos Free-FX' spray which would prevent the mosquitoes at the larva stage.
The Commissioner visited the Singhnagar Excel plant drain, main road drain, Sriram Energy plant drain, Old Singhnagar, Rythu Bazaar drain and monitored the new Mos Free-FX spraying in the drains.
About 10 ml of Mos Free-FX should be mixed in one litre of water and should be sprayed, which would destroy the mosquitoes at the larva stage. The new oil is eco-friendly and will not have any adverse affect on the health of the people or the spray operator.
Later, the Commissioner inspected the working of C and D waste plant at Singhnagar, and told the concerned officials to take measures to increase the production. Health Officer and biologist in-charge Dr Ramakoteshwara Rao, Dr Iqbal Hussain, executive engineer Chandraasekhar and others were present.
