No fresh coronavirus cases in Kurnool district in 24 hrs
Giving a relief to officials, no Covid-19 positive cases were reported in Kurnool district on Thursday.
Kurnool: Giving a relief to officials, no Covid-19 positive cases were reported in Kurnool district on Thursday. The number of discharges has outnumbered the active cases. But, the number of deaths has slightly increased when compared to earlier days.
District Collector, G Veera Pandiyan in a statement stated that up to Wednesday, 591 positive cases were registered.Of the total number, 343 persons were discharged after they were tested negative for two consecutive times.
On Thursday alone 27 persons were discharged from various quarantine and covid hospitals across the district. As of now there are only 230 positive cases besides 18 deaths, stated the Collector. With the team efforts of doctors, sanitation workers and others we could able to bring the killer virus under control, added Veera Pandiyan.
