Nursing student commits suicide in Anantapur
A nursing student has committed suicide at the college hostel on Kalyandurgam Road in Anantapur on Wednesday.

According to police, the deceased identified as Kavya (20) a native of Sivarapuram village in Amarapuram Mandal is studying the second year of BSC nursing at Adarsh nursing college here in the city.
On Wednesday morning, she went back to the hostel from the classroom complaining stomach pain. As they were no one in the hostel, Kavya has committed suicide by hanging herself in the room. Later, the fellow students who noticed have informed the college management.
Over the information, Two town CI Zakir Hussain and his team visited the spot and shifted the body to the government hospital for postmortem and inquired the students about the incident.
The police said that Kavya who studied in Telugu medium since childhood has shifted to the English medium at once and fell behind in the studies with five back locks in the first year. Over this, she has become upset and committed suicide.
However, the family members have raised suspicions about the death. CI said that a case would be registered based on the complaint of family members.
