Chittoor: One more corona positive case has been registered in Janakarapalli in the 23rd division of Chittoor on Thursday despite initiating all measures to curb the disease, said C Obulesh, Municipal Commissioner.
During his visit to Janakarapalli containment zone on Thursday , he said that it was the most crucial period to combat against the dreaded Covid-19 in the wake of relaxing the lockdown restrictions.
Spraying of hypochlorite solution has been undertaken at all the streets in the city . Sanitation works have been taken up extensively. Massive awareness programmes were initiated. Despite all the efforts , corona positive cases in the city are increasing, he said.
He further said that lockdown conditions would be followed strictly in containment zones and essentials will be supplied to residents. Two Town Circle Inspector Yugandhar, City Planning Officer Nagendra, Sanitary Inspector Chinnaiah and others were present.
