Visakhapatnam: Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) Visakhapatnam MP candidate D Purandeswari said that able, stable and honest government is only possible with the BJP. Misleading the people of Andhra Pradesh, the TDP government in the State carrying out a campaign branding all the Central sponsored programmes as TDP programmes, she alleged.

Addressing a media conference along with sitting MP K Haribabu in the city on Saturday, she said that the present elections are very crucial both at the Centre and also in the State. The entire country is again looking at the BJP for an able, stable and strong government and it is possible only with the BJP. During the last five years, the BJP government helped Andhra Pradesh by sponsoring and sanctioning lavish development programmes and educational institutions.

However, the TDP government is misleading the people by giving AP government colour to the welfare programmes and development projects, Purandeswari alleged.Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is playing cheap tricks to retain the power. However, the people are keenly observing the developments and they are ready to teach a lesson on the polling day on April 11.

Purandeswari said that during her earlier stint as MP from Visakhapatnam and Union Minister, she had brought several projects to the Port City. If the people again give her mandate, she assured to work hard to get all pending projects cleared by the Centre.

Sitting MP and senior party leader K Haribabu said that the people would give a clear verdict in the coming general elections. He said the BJP would form the government again at the Centre and in the State, no single party would get clear majority to form the government.
