Pervert woman, accomplice held for abusing minor in Ongole
A woman, who was habituated to lesbianism was arrested after receiving a complaint from a minor girl here.
Ongole: A woman, who was habituated to lesbianism was arrested after receiving a complaint from a minor girl here. Her husband, who felt ashamed for getting caught by the police, jumped off the third floor of the building they are residing and died in the hospital.
Her accomplice, a SIM card seller, has also been arrested for sharing the mobile numbers of innocent women and girls and trapping them for unnatural sex and rape under sedation.
Singarayakonda circle inspector Turaka Xavior Ajay Kumar told the media on Friday that a minor girl belonging to Jarugumilli, studying Intermediate first year, complained to the district SP Siddharth Kaushal during Spandana on November 4 that she was raped by unknown people when they made her unconscious. She suspected that Gonuguntla Sumalatha, her husband Gonuguntla Yedukondalu, Vamsi Krishna and Sai Ramesh Reddy were behind her rape.
The SP ordered the Singarayakonda CI to investigate the case. As part of the investigation, the police team reached the house of Yedukondalu in Ongole on November 6 and started questioning Sumalatha while conducting a search.
When the police found a bag with dildos and other sex toys, Yedukondalu jumped off the building they were residing. He was shifted to a private hospital where he died after confessing on video that his wife was a pervert and uses the toys on other women.
After the further investigation and searches, the police found that Sumalatha is a native of Kondepi mandal and had married two times, but deserted the two men. Yedukondalu, an auto-rickshaw driver who also hailed from Kondepi, was married but was living separately from his wife.
Sumalatha and Yedukondalu married about seven years ago and shifted to Ongole to run a noodles stall and rent auto-rickshaw. Sumalatha used to behave like a man by wearing pants and shirts, driving motorbikes and auto-rickshaw and has the ability to mimic a male voice.
Vamsi Krishna is a youngster, who worked in their noodles stall for a while and now sells SIM cards in Kondepi and surrounding areas by setting up makeshipft stalls. He used to share the mobile numbers he had activated for the women and girls with Sumalatha, who calls them with a male voice and introduces herself as Sai Ramesh Reddy.
She invites the women to their house by using Vamsi Krishna and Yedukondalu and sexually abuses them by sedating them. She plays the role of the man using sex toys while the victim woman is unconscious or semiconscious.
The police found that the minor girl belongs to a village adjacent to Sumalatha's and she is friends with the girl and her classmates for a while. Sumalatha, Vamsi Krishna and Yedukondalu brought her to their house in the auto-rickshaw and abused her sexually.
The police arrested Sumalatha and Vamsi Krishna on November 7 for raping the minor girl and registered a case under various sections related to POCSO, kidnap and forcing for unnatural sex.
As Yedukondalu died by jumping off the building, they produced the remaining two accused in the court and the judge sent them on remand for 15 days. CI Ajay Kumar said that there were many more victims of Sumalatha and they are continuing the investigation to find out whether any victims were subjected to human trafficking and other activities by the accused.
