Police intensify cordon & search: SP
Superintendent of Police Ch V Appala Naidu said, ``With a move to eliminate the anti-social elements and to improve people’s confidence on police services
Chittoor: Superintendent of Police Ch V Appala Naidu said, ``With a move to eliminate the anti-social elements and to improve people's confidence on police services , instructions were given to all the DSPs in the district to conduct Cordon and Search operation.''
During the cordon and search operation held in Palamaner police sub-division, 2 Autos and 24 bikes were seized in Drivers Colony, Gangavaram mandal on Sunday. S Arifullah, DSP Palamaner, 3 Circle Inspectors, 8 Sub inspectors, 24 ASIs , 10 Mahila constables and 20 special party police constables participated in the operation, he said.
He further said that in this operation 87 persons were involved through Finger Print Identification Networking System SP Appala Naidu said to The Hans India that each house in the suspected areas will be checked thoroughly. `` As per the rules and regulations of the police act and with the cooperation of the people, the police would conduct cordon and search operation to eliminate criminals.
He stated that no anti-social element or criminals will be left out in the operation. He appealed the public to dial to phone no 100 or post to 9440900005 Whatsapp in case of seeking the police assistance at any point of time . Palamaner DSP Arifullah and others were present.
