Police seized Rs 22 lakh in Prakasam district

For which, there are bringing out new Rs 2,000 and Rs 500 currency notes for the distribution purposes. As the elections code is active, the police and flying squad teams are alert and conducting raids across the state.
In this process, the police have seized Rs 22,58,400 lakh black money from Sai Srinivas function hall at Singarakonda in Prakasam district.
Regarding the cash, the police have arrested Ramesh Reddy and Sai Krishna Reddy, who belongs to Nellore district.
The police officials are suspecting that this cash was brought in order to distribute to the voters in the constituency.
