Pool housing land by Sep 10, Minister tells officials
Minister for Housing Ch Sriranganadha Raju has directed the officials to complete the work relating to land acquisition for distribution of house site pattas to the poor before September 10.
Eluru: Minister for Housing Ch Sriranganadha Raju has directed the officials to complete the work relating to land acquisition for distribution of house site pattas to the poor before September 10.
He convened a review meeting with officials concerned to discuss the measures to be taken to acquire the necessary land for distribution among urban and rural poor families by Ugadi festival.
He asked revenue and housing officials to work in coordination to achieve the targets. He instructed them to complete the process of identification of beneficiaries and land in West Godavari initially. He called upon the MLAs and local leaders to be part of this exercise to speed up the process.
While acquiring land, the officials should take consent letter from the land owner and ensure that no objections should be raised in future. This initiative would help in the hassle-free completion of the site distribution.
MP K Sridhar, MLAs T Babaraju and VR Eliza, District Collector R Muthyala Raju, Joint Collector M Venugopala Reddy and others were present on the occasion.
