Prizes distributed to shooting contest winners in Vijayawada
The Andhra Pradesh State Riffle Association organised XXth Andhra Pradesh state shooting competitions in small bore and shotgun events at Gachibowli shooting range in Hyderabad from August 6 to 9.
Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh State Riffle Association organised XXth Andhra Pradesh state shooting competitions in small bore and shotgun events at Gachibowli shooting range in Hyderabad from August 6 to 9. Additional Director General (Law & Order) Ravi Shankar attended as the chief guest at the prize distribution programme held here on Sunday.
Ravi Shankar said that shooting is an intelligent game and requires lot of skills. It is a game related to mind, eyes, hand, entire body coordination and alignment. He said that it is heartening to see lot of young girls pursuing shooting in their career.
They have excelled in the competition and proved that they are second to none. He opined that in the days to come AP shooters would excel in national and international shooting competitions.
Andhra Pradesh Riffle Shooting Association senior vice-president Gokaraju Ranga Raju, APRS secretary Rajkumar, joint secretary Kiran Reddy presented the medals to the winners.
