Ragging should be eradicated from root level: DLSA Secretary
District Legal Services Authority secretary and principal senior civil judge B Sobha Kumari said that the practice of ragging should be eradicated from the root level to lay down a golden future to the next generation of students and save their future.
Ongole: District Legal Services Authority secretary and principal senior civil judge B Sobha Kumari said that the practice of ragging should be eradicated from the root level to lay down a golden future to the next generation of students and save their future. She conducted a review meeting with the education and engineering college managements and police officials in the district court premises on Thursday.
She opined that the effect of the menace of ragging has subsided in the earlier years but has not been totally eradicated. She ordered the officials to organize special programs for the students to create awareness on the ragging and its effect on their lives. The DEO B Subba Rao and representatives from the RISE and PACE Engineering colleges are also along with the participants of the meeting.
