Rajamahendravaram: Timely help of MP Margani Bharat Ram saves boys life

Rajamahendravaram: In a touching gesture, MP Margani Bharat Ram has extended his help for performing heart surgery to a 10-year-old boy in right time and saved his life.

Aditya Durga Sai, son of Umadevi and Atmakur Chandrasekhar, was suffering with a heart ailment and the couple took their son to various hospitals in Rajamahendravaram, Vijayawada and Bangalore.

Finally, the doctors of MGN Hospital, Bangalore advised surgery to the boy which costs Rs 15 lakh. With this, they applied for CM Relief Fund for financial assistance. The doctors declined to perform surgery as the amount was not released in time.

The couple approached the MP who in turn used his good offices to release Rs 10 lakh immediately and the doctors performed surgery.

The couple met MP Bharat at his office here on Monday and thanked him for his timely help to save their son.
